History |
The Faculty of Science and Literature was established by the decision of the Council of Ministers dated 07.02.1999 and numbered 98/10569 and affiliated to Ondokuz Mayıs University. In 1999, he started education and teaching with Turkish Language and Literature Department and Mathematics Department. 2000 History and Biology departments were opened. Did the Physics, Chemistry and Foreign Language departments open in 2003? Chemistry Department started education-teaching in 2009. 5467 and Article 19 of the Law No. 26111 dated 17.03.2006, which was established by the decision published in the Official Gazete, is still connected to the ORDU UNIVERSITY (Turkish Language and Literature, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and History departments). and II curricula).
Later on, Foreign Languages Department, Physics Department, Sociology Department and Contemporary Turkish Dialects departments were opened. |

Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) |
The process of recognition of prior learning at Turkish Higher Education Councils is at an early stage. For this reason, recognition of prior education in all programs of the University of Ordu has not been fully started. However, exams are held at the beginning of the fall semester for the English lessons in the compulsory curriculum of the departments. Students who complete these derstens self-learning processes or who think that they have provided learning outputs in these courses in different ways have the right to enter this test. Those who are successful in the examination are considered to be exempt from the related course in the course schedule.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading |
Students are required to take at least one midterm and one final exam from all courses. The contribution of the midterm exam is 40% and the contribution of the final exam is 60%. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. There is a requirement to take at least 50 points from the final exam. The notes are expressed in 4 'system. Students who take one of the letter grades AA, BA, BB, CB and CC are deemed to have completed that course. Candidates who receive a DC grade and grade averages of more than 2 in the relevant period are deemed to have completed the relevant course.
