General Description

History
The Physiology graduate program started education during the 2021-2022 academic year within the body of Ordu University Faculty of Medicine.
Qualification Awarded
When the physiology master's program is successfully completed and the qualifications are provided, a "master's degree" is obtained in the Physiology Department.

Specific Admission Requirements
In order to apply to the program, candidates must have a bachelor's degree from any of the departments of Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, Biology, Medical Biology, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Nursing, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation. In order to apply to the program, the undergraduate diploma grade must be at least 65 out of 100. Students must have at least 55 ALES points.
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)
It is determined by the Board of the Department.

Facilities
2 Associate Professor and 1 Assistant Professor are available in the department. There are Stereotaxy device, Oscilloscope, Light microscope, Electrophysiological study unit, PoweLab System, Cold light source, EKG device and Spirometer in our laboratory.

2	Understands the data management, analysis principles, the interpretation of research results
3	Learn the rules of writing scientific papers and theses
4	Understands the basic physiological control mechanisms
5	Apply electrophysiological recording methods
6	Gain the ability to analyze neurophysiological data
7	Gain the ability to use measuring devices in the laboratory
8	Gain the ability to make practical applications of undergraduate courses
9	Gains the competence to conduct scientific studies on the types of physiology.
10	Learn the basics of physiology
11	Learns the relationship between body systems.
12	Follows current developments in the field by participating in congresses, symposiums and seminars
13	Gains the competence to follow up-to-date articles and published publications in the field of physiology.
