The content of this course introduction to nervous system organization of the nervous system basic functions of synapses and transmitter substances motor functions of spinal cord muscle-sensory receptors- muscle spindles flexor reflex and withdrawal reflexes cortical and brain stem control of motor function vestibular sensations and maintenance of equilibrium contributions of the cerebellum and basal ganglia to overall motor control integration of the many parts of the total motor control systemphysiologic anatomy of the cerebral cortex functions of specific cortical areas intellectual functionsof the brain learning and memory. |
