Specific Admission Requirements |
Candidates must have a high school or an equivalent school diploma, and have a passing grade in the central examination administered by Assessment, Selection and Placement Center(OSYM) in the relevant field. And also they mustn't be disabled by the military service. |
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) |
At the beginning of the academic year, students are given a proficieny / exemption exam on classes such as foreign languages.The students with a passing grade on this exam are exempted from those classes. Undergraduate transfer students are also exempted from the classes they have already taken. And these grades are recorded in their transcript. |

In order to complete the program, it is necessary to pass all the courses available (120 ECTS credits), obtain a GPA of at least 2.0 out of 4.00 and successfully complete the compulsory internship.

Profile of The Programme |
The tourism sector is one of the fastest growing sectors in developing countries, including transportation, accommodation, entertainment, congress, sports disciplines. This service sector is the main source of foreign exchange income, new business fields and economic growth.
Our program aims to educate intermediate staff and manager candidates who will produce and practice projects in the field of tourism
Academic activities are held by three lecturers. The Practice Units of the Social Facilities of our university and our vocational school are utilised.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples |
Graduated students can be employed in various positions in hospitality sectors such as hotels, motels, holiday villages, travel agencies, restaurants, bars, entertainment centers, tour operators. Besides the private sector organizations, they can take part in the central and provincial organizations held by The Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Graduates with foreign language and sufficient vocational knowledge are able to work abroad in the rapidly developing and globalizing sector. |
Access to Further Studies |
Graduates who have successfully completed the Associate Degree education can study under the Undergraduate programs provided that they take valid grades from the External Transfer Exam(DGS). And also after getting their Associate Degree diplomas, they can enroll the Deparment of Business of the Faculty of Open Education in the Unversity of Anatolia without taking the External Transfer Exam administered by Assessment, Selection and Placement Center(OSYM). |
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading |
Every student has to attend classes, practices, laboratory, project, seminar, workshop, semester work, graduation projects. Students who do not attend at least 70% of the theoretical courses and at least 80% of the practical and laboratory studies are not allowed to take the final exams from those courses. Students have to repeat the relevant lessons until they fulfill the attendance requirement in the theoretical courses.Also, they take a mid-term exam and a final exam in each term. |
