Qualification Awarded |
Graduates who successfully complete the program are awarded the diploma of the Associate Degree in the field of Computer Programming. They are given the title of Computer Technician. |

Candidates must have a high school or an equivalent school diploma, and have a passing grade in the central examination administered by Assessment, Selection and Placement Center(OSYM) in the relevant field. And also they mustn't be disabled by the military service. |
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) |
At the beginning of the academic year, students are given a proficieny / exemption exam on classes such as foreign languages.The students with a passing grade on this exam are exempted from those classes. Undergraduate transfer students are also exempted from the classes they have already taken. And these grades are recorded in their transcript. |

In order to complete the program, it is necessary to pass all the courses available (120 ECTS credits), obtain a GPA of at least 2.0 out of 4.00 and successfully complete the compulsory internship. |

In the recent years, the usage of computer technologies in the business and daily life has risen gradually.Computer technology and programming is the field about the computer using, preparing software for the PCs, network and internet, installation of hardware and computer networks. The Computer Programming students are trained as the professionals who have sufficient knowledge in all the disciplines of computer, who are well equipped with the know-how of what they know and who constantly improve themselves in the technological developments. |

Graduated students can be employed in various positions in computerised sectors such as

Accordingly, Computer Programming graduates can work as a web designer, an assistant staff in the data base processing department, a designer or animator in the advertisement agencies and computer programmer in the private sector. Furthermore, they can run their own business. and they can be graphic desinger in the photography studios.Also they can work in the computer service and maintenance companies as a technician. And, they can be computer operators. They can also work as a staff or an assistant in the public organizations.

Graduates who have successfully completed the Associate Degree education can study under the Undergraduate programs provided that they take valid grades from the External Transfer Exam(DGS).

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading |
Every student has to attend classes, practices, laboratory, project, seminar, workshop, semester work, graduation projects. Students who do not attend at least 70% of the theoretical courses and at least 80% of the practical and laboratory studies are not allowed to take the final exams from those courses. Students have to repeat the relevant lessons until they fulfill the attendance requirement in the theoretical courses.Also, they take a mid-term exam and a final exam in each term. |
