| History |
| Ordu university, Faculty of Dentistry was established by Council of Ministers on 03.25.2009. After the work of academic and administrative, education began with 22 students at Ordu center position güzelyalı 2066 m2 closed area in the 2011-2012 academic year. After the work of physical infrastructure in order to provide health services, patient treatment and research activities began at 8 different departments : Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery; Oral and Maxillofacial Prothesis; Orthodontics; Pediatric Dentistry; Periodontology; Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology; Restorative Dentistry ; Endodontics In April 2012. As of the year 2022,education and health services continue with 3 Professor, 17 Associate Professors, 10 Assistant Professors and 70 Research Assistants. Dentistry of the Ordu University in the academic year 2022-2023, There are 1. classroom 111, 2. classroom 112, 3. classroom 84, 4. classroom 94 and 5. classroom 99 totally Grade 500 students. about 70 thousand patients per year are treated at our clinic is equipped with advanced devices are constantly being renewed |

| Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) |
| Recognition of prior non-formal and in-formal learning is at the beginning stage of Turkish Higher Education Institutions. Ordu University and hence of the Faculty of Dentistry is not an exception to this. However, exams of exemption are organized at the srat of each academic year at the Faculty for the courses of English Language. The students who have completed the proficiencies for these courses on his/her own or through other means, and believe that they have achieved the learning outcomes specified are given right to take the exemption exams. The students who achieve a passing grade from these exams are held exempt from the related course in the curriculum. |

| Profile of The Programme |
| A large part of the courses in the Faculty of Dentistry is given annually. Semester to annual course of lectures given to the ratio of about 1/3. Therefore, lesson plans are created annually. The curriculum is composed of basic medicine education as well as diagnosis and treatment of diseases concerning oral and neighbouring tissues. 500 students will be given a 5-year dental education and experts are grown who come with DUS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery; Oral and Maxillofacial Prothesis; Orthodontics; Pediatic Dentistry; Periodontology; Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology; Restorative Dentistry ; Endodontics areas. |

| Experts are grown who come with dus (Dentistry Specialization Examination) at Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery; Oral and Maxillofacial Prothesis; Orthodontics; Pedodontics; Periodontics; Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology; Conservative Dentistry ; Endodontics areas. There are 70 students who will be experts in the 2022-2023 academic year, Ordu University Faculty of Dentistry .78 experts graduated. |

| According to "Ordu University of Education Examination Regulation" and "Ordu faculty of Dentistry of the University of Education Examination Directive" There are 2 mid terms and 1 final exam for yearly courses and 1 mid term 1 final for one semester courses. |
| Graduation Requirements |
| Students with a total of 300 ECTS credits successfully completed five years of education can graduate. |
