Educational activities started under the name ‘Accounting Programme’ in 2002-2003. The name of the programme was changed to ‘Accounting and Taxation Programme’ in 2009-2010. |

Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) |
Depending on the degrees awarded, theoretical or practical courses taken as part of a degree (completed or not completed) may lead to recognition of these as prior learning by the programme administration. The students who have taken courses in another institution in Turkey or abroad can ask for credit and grade transfer. The executive boards of relevant programme will decide on the courses to be transferred covering students' entire academic program once and for all with the condition that the request for transfer be made within the first week of the academic year, the requests cannot be repeated. |
Qualification Requirements and Regulations |
In order to successfully complete all courses (for a total of 120 ECTS) in the programme, students should obtain a grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00. |

The aim of the Accounting and Taxation Programme is to graduate qualified accounting professionals having knowledge and skills so as to serve in field of accounting and taxation, having ability to have a command of legislation, continuously improving himself/herself, being loyal to ethical values. |

The graduates of this programme may be employed as accounting professional in private sector, and in case of getting enough points in Civil Servant Selection Exam in public offices. |

The graduates successfully completing their education of associate degree may receive undergraduate education in Banking, Banking and Finance, Banking and Financing, Business Administration, Business Information Management, Business Administration- Economics, Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, Accounting and Financing Education, Capital Markets, Insurance, International Finance, International Trade departments in case of getting enough points in Vertical Transfer Exam. |

Facilities |
In the program, there is a university lecturer. There are two computer labs for students to make practice. |
