Qualification Requirements and Regulations
Profile of The Programme
It consists of Analytical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Biochemistry and Polymer Chemistry branches. The major branch´s educational aim is to graduate modern chemists and future scientists guided by the basic knowledge and know-how necessary for them to handle and solve the problems they face in their careers as well as to contribute to developments in science and technology. Courses offered by the department concentrate on both fundamental principles of chemistry and the subjects of the branches. The department has well-equipped research facilities developed over the years by the contributions from TUBITAK and Ordu University.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
The graduate of this major branch can work in various research and development laboratories besides analytical and quality control laboratories or can have teaching jobs in case they additionally own teaching certificates.
Access to Further Studies
Students who graduate from this program, in accordance with the rules established, may continue their doctoral programs.
