| Objectives of the Course |
| Dersin amacı öğrencilere İngilizce'nin ses kalıplarını çalışmak için sağlam bir temel sağlamaktır. Bu, büyük ölçüde uygulamalı bir derstir ve böylece öğrenciler, ses yollarında, boğazlarında ve ağızlarında gerçekleştirilen bir dizi basit içgözlemsel deney kullanarak konuşma seslerinin fonetik sınıflandırmasıyla tanıştırılır. Gerçekte sesler çıkararak ve üretimlerine eşlik eden kas duyumlarına katılarak öğrenciler bunların nasıl üretildiğini keşfedebilir ve bunları nasıl tanımlayıp sınıflandıracaklarını öğrenebilirler. | Course Contents |
| Bu ders, öğrencilere fonetikteki temel kavramları, konuşmanın bilimsel çalışmasını ve fonolojideki, temel vurgu İngilizce olmak üzere çeşitli insan dillerindeki ses kalıplarının incelenmesini tanıtır. Öğrenciler, ünsüzler ve sesli harflerin yanı sıra vurgu ve tonlama üretmek için artikülasyon mekanizmaları hakkında bir anlayış kazanacaklardır. Uluslararası Fonetik Alfabe (IPA) ile tanıştırılacaklar. |
