Objectives of the Course
The objective of this course is to teach English grammar rules in various contexts, improve the ability of using these rules to produce grammatically well-formed sentences in various contexts and to see and improve ill-formed sentences through grammatical analysis.

Assignments: Each student is required to do the written tasks given by the lecturer for each unit. Class Participation: For your own improvement in English and for the success of the class as a whole, it is essential that each of you have yourself prepared for each unit’s assigned tasks and for the class. Academic Honesty: The principles of truth and honesty are fundamental to a community of learners. All students are expected to honor these principles. Examples of academic dishonesty include: i) cheating in any form partial or complete and ii) plagiarism or false representation of another’s work as one’s own. At the discretion of the lecturer, a student who violates this code may receive any or all of the following: i) failing grade for the assignment or ii) failing grade for the course.
Course Contents
In this course articles, pronouns, prepositions, indirect speech, passives, relative clauses, adverbial conjunctions, if-clauses and noun clauses will be discussed in detail by analyzing different contexts.
