Objectives of the Course
The Turks and Slavs have been living in the same geography since the European Huns. The European Hun Emperor Attilla protected the Slavs from being assimilated by the Romans. The Khazar Turks prepared the ground for the formulation of first Russian state by establishing the Kiev Khanate. In this course, the 4th and 14th century-relations between the Slavs and the Turks will be discussed.
