• to give information about the protein purification techniques and their mechanisms

Course Contents |
Protein purification strategy and equipment, assay to identify a target protein, extraction of protein from cells or tissue, techniques for clarifying homogenized extracts, storage of protein samples, ion exchange chromatography (IEX), hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC), affinity chromatography, size exclusion chromatography (SEC), electrophoresis of proteins. |
