Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to enable students to learn the historical, philosophical, scientific foundations of sports sciences, developments in sports sciences and factors affecting these developments, to be able to analyze and interpret the basic disciplines in sports sciences, professional preparation and career choice and employment areas related to sports sciences.

It covers the emergence of Sports Sciences, the historical development of the merger of different fields to form Sports Sciences, the philosophical foundations of sport, the understanding of professions that develop depending on the philosophy of sport and the future of Sports Sciences.
