Objectives of the Course |
The aim of this course is to examine the beginnings and the development of English poetry as well as the important poetry forms and terms through the works of the authors starting with Old English period up until Neoclassical Era. In addition, it is aimed to examine the works from cultural, social, literary and psychological aspects throughout the course and provide necessary backgrounds to the students. |
