Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to teach the skills and techniques required in academic writing such as conducting academic research, bringing together ideas and arguments by using auxiliary sources, quoting, summarizing, using auxiliary sources without plagiarism. This course also aims to provide students with a critical perspective.

Learning Outcomes
1Students who complete this course successfully have a good understanding of the steps to conduct academic research within a properly organized program.
2Students know the skills that are essential for conducting academic research.
3Students know how to benefit from libraries and e-libraries.
4Upon completion of the course the students should be able to write a research article, review article, thesis chapter and other related academic research text.

Course Contents
While evaluating any work, phenomenon, idea, or situation, which questions should be approached, the ways that will lead to the right results, and the methods and principles of thinking will be examined in this course. Students will be provided with the opportunity to practice writing from a different perspective than the ordinary one. In this course, it is hoped that the students will transfer the theoretical knowledge they have learned into practice by writing academic papers. The aim of this course is to provide students with academic research and writing skills. To ensure that this knowledge can be used in graduation studies, master's theses, and academic articles. By informing them about plagiarism and enabling them to learn systems such as MLA and APA.
