Objectives of the Course

To comprehend the contributions of the Turks to the culture and civilization from the emergence of Islam to the history stage. To teach the history and culture of Islam and pre-Anatolian Turkish and to raise awareness of history and Turkishness in pre-service teachers.

The meaning of the Turkish name; The main dormitory of the Turks; The birth of Turkish; History of pre-Islamic Turkish states;Orhun Monuments and their importance in terms of Turkish history, culture, language and beliefs; steppe lifestyle characteristics; giving information about art, economy, belief culture and civilization in pre-Islamic Turkish societies.
