This course provides the nursing students with the information about human behavior, usual patterns of the behavior, social and cultural differences that affect mental health and preventive, curative, and rehabilitating approaches of the nurse to mental problems

The psychodynamic principals of the behavior, introduction to psychiatric nursing, interview process, affective disorder, personality disorder, substance use disorder, somatoform and dissociate disorder, psychosomatic disorder, psychotic disorder, neurotic disorder, sexual orientation problem, delirium, dementia, amnesic and other cognitive disorders, childhood psychiatric disorders, methods in psychiatric treatment, consultation-liaison nursing, legal issues and ethics, psychological care for community
