| To provide basic information about general geology information, soil types, geological cycles, GPS (Global Positioning System) and map information and to teach the possibilities of using this information in forestry studies. |

| The course consists of theoretical and practical parts. Derste geological map signs, topographic maps, geological map reading and interpretation will be taught necessary procedures. problems will be solved about the subject. |
