| Level of Course Unit | First Cycle | Objectives of the Course | The aim of the Public Health internship is to ensure that Term VI students acquire information about the country's health status, health needs and health system within the scope of teaching the basic principles, concepts and practices of public health, and to gain knowledge and skills about the duties of the physician in the management of health services, especially primary care. To ensure that students understand primary healthcare services and the primary healthcare organization in our country by providing information about epidemiology, preventive medicine and the functioning of primary healthcare services and legal regulations, getting to know the society, keeping records, research planning, data collection, statistical analysis, writing reports, making presentations. To develop their skills, to ensure that they have the knowledge and skills to manage a community health center (CHC), to understand the reasons that negatively affect public health, to evaluate health-related biological, psychological and social events together, to examine and monitor the patient with his/her environment, to understand health problems and solutions.
