General Description
History
Construction Technology Program was established in 1976 . The Program has started evening education in 2001. The Program have about 100 students every year.
Qualification Awarded
Student graduated from Construction Technology Programme have international diploma by title Construction Technician.

Specific Admission Requirements
After high school, Entrance exam of Selection (ÖSYM) and placement of students in higher education institutions in Turkey and Open admission
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)
Depending on the degrees awarded, theoretical or practical courses taken as part of a degree (completed or not completed) may lead to recognition of these as prior learning by the programme administration. The students who have taken courses in another institution in Turkey or abroad can ask for credit and grade transfer. The executive boards of relevant programme will decide on the courses to be transferred covering students' entire academic program once and for all with the condition that the request for transfer be made within the first week of the academic year, the requests cannot be repeated.
Qualification Requirements and Regulations
Students of Construction Program must take totaly 120 ECTS lectures credit in 4 semestres for their graduation.
Profile of The Programme
In our country and in the world as it is today, in the future, well-trained in the field of construction, knowledge and skills of practitioners,the technicians are needed. Roads, housing, insfractures, bridges, airports, tunnels, railways are required for all the requirements of modern life. The construction industry in the country and abroad to meet the needs of people at all times have the obligation to protect the activity. Our programme is educated at international quality standards technicians.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Technicians who graduated from the program can be easily employed in the private and the public sector. They can work in all of the construction sector. A few of them are as follows. * Building inspection * Building and material control laboratories at the private and public * Ready Mix Concrete Plants * Construction site organization and operation * Drawing of all construction building projects * Quantity and cost of build e.t.c.
Access to Further Studies
Students graduated from program can transfer to Civil Engineering and Architecture e.t.c. by External Transfer Exam.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Depends on lecture requirements, assestments of lectures are done by verbal and writting examinations, projects and their presentation. 4 points scaled numerical systems in 4 semesters for graduation.
Graduation Requirements
Students of Construction Program must take totaly 120 ECTS lectures credit in 4 semestres for their graduation.

Facilities
Education in Construction Program is done coordination with many enterprise, industrial chamber, sociaties and public foundations. In education term is done projects, technical excursions, seminars. Also, program is established a quato for apprentice from many private and the public society.
