Ordu University, State Conservatory Performing Arts Departure Theatre Department which took the the first students in 2012-2013 teaching year was transferred to Music and Performing Arts Faculty,Theatre Department by the decision of Ministerial Council in 05.07.2012. |

Specific Admission Requirements |
The admission of students to the programme is made upon Special Aptitude Test based on the system of Student Selection and Placement Center (OSYM – University entrance exam) within the framework set by the regulations of Higher Education Council (HEC). |
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) |
The students of Ordu University may be exempt from some courses within the framework of certain regulations. If course content from another institution is appropriate and relevant to the one in Ordu University, the course content would be approved by the dean of the faculty, so that the students may be exempted from this course. |
Qualification Requirements and Regulations |
To complete all the courses successfully which are found in the program ( 240 ECTS credits), and to have a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00, and being successful in Training Course according to the application of training instruction. |

The aim of the Theatre Program by doing theoretical and practical acting education, is to educate not only talented, researcher, interpreter, producer, educational artificer and experts who have the high qualities of art and know the culture of traditional and contemporary theatre but also the students who have the theoretical and practical equipments, and the systematic thought of scientific and artistic and the students who are eager to improvement. |

Graduation Requirements |
Students who enrolled in the courses in the course plans of their undergraduate programs and succeeded in those courses, and those who successfully completed the internships and graduation projects included in Ordu University Associate Degree and Bachelor Degree Teaching, Training and Testing Regulation with a General Point Average of minimum 2.00 are considered as graduates. |

Our department ,which has 1 asst. prof. dr, 3 lecturer and 2 research assistant in the presence ,is in the structure of music and the performing arts.It has a computer lab,1 scene and acting studio,1dressing room ,1 theater class,,1 meeting room and library and enough administrative office. At the same time our department has 1 professor,1 associate professor,2 docent,7 lecturer, 7 research assistant.Andıt is continuing education and training. |
