History | The program was established on 26.04.2022 and started accepting students in the Fall semester of the 2022-2023 Academic Year. | Qualification Awarded | Doctoral Degree in Labour Economics and Industrial Relations. | Level of Qualification | Third Cycle | Specific Admission Requirements | In order to apply for doctoral programs in accordance with 7/3 a and b and 8/4-b, which regulates the requirements for applying to the doctoral program of the Ordu University Graduate Education and Training Regulation, candidates must; a) master's degree and b) center for evaluation, selection and placement (OSYM) that refers to a centralized national ales score type of the program by at least 55 points, or university by the Council of ales ales score of 55 considered to be the equivalent to at least have a score that is equivalent to examinations and c) exoglossic English, the Foreign Language examination center at least 55 points, or Board of center for evaluation, selection and placement considered to be equivalent by approved international equivalent score on a score that is the Foreign Language exam is required. In addition, at least 50 of the success score in the written /interview science exam will be at least 100 out of the full score
it should be 65.
| Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) | There is not scientific preparation in the doctoral program. | Qualification Requirements and Regulations | According to Article of 34/3 of the Regulation, doctoral programs with thesis, candidates are required to succeed in 8 courses, a seminar, a qualifying exam, a specialized field topics, a thesis proposal and thesis study. | Profile of The Programme | The program includes only the teaching of relevant theoretical and applied knowledge in the field of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations | Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples | They are expected to be employed in Private sector enterprises, trade unions, institutions such as the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the Labor and Labor Directorates, Family and Social Policies Ministry, international institutions and organizations such as the ILO and the EU that regulate working life in the public sector. Graduates can become teaching staff. | Access to Further Studies | Graduates of the doctorate degree in labour economics and industrial relations may apply to domestic or foreign doctorate programs in related study fields. | Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading | According to Article 18/2 of the regulation, it is mandatory to attend theoretical and practical courses. More than 30% of theoretical courses and
a student who does not attend more than 20% of practical courses takes the final exams of that course or courses
it is not taken and the student is given an F1 grade.
According to article 18/12 of the regulation
Students who score 75 out of 100 and above are successful in the exams. The final exam grade must be at least 70.
When determining the course grade, the Dec's midterm and final exam performance as well as the performance of the project or short homework are taken into account. Exams are organized by the institute. The Decimation weight is 40% and the final exam weight is 60%.
| Graduation Requirements | According to Article 34/3 of the Regulation, the doctoral program consists of a total of twenty-four credits for students admitted with a master's degree with a dissertation and at least eight courses, seminars, qualifying exams, specialties, provided that the educational period is not less than 60 ECTS
the field course consists of at least 240 ECTS credits, including thesis proposal and thesis work

The faculty consists of administration building, social facilities including conference hall, kitchen, cafeteria and canteen, and the service building where classrooms and offices of staff members in it. The conference hall, a capacity of 250 persons, is respond to any event. There are 14 classrooms, a computer lab, a library and a reading room in the classroom building. Campus is located at the edge of the seaside and the state coast roadand there are also amphitheater, volleyball and basketball courts and seating areas. The faculty is five km far away from Unye and the direction of transport activities to Ordu and Samsun operates steadily. Besides, there are also a variety of clubs in the university. The students can join them in accordance with their interest. There are 2 Professors, 3 Associate Professors, 1 Doctor and 3 Research Assistant in the Department. |
