History | The program was opened on 05.05.2021 and started accepting students in the Fall semester of the 2021-2022 Academic Year. | Qualification Awarded | Doctorate | Level of Qualification | Third Cycle | Specific Admission Requirements | In order to apply for a doctoral program, candidates must have a bachelor's degree or a master's degree with thesis. -To have received at least 55 points from ALES or an equivalent exam in programs that require ALES, -To have received at least 55 points from YDS or an equivalent exam. -To have met the other conditions specified in the announcement. | Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) | | Qualification Requirements and Regulations | The relevant articles of Ordu University Postgraduate Education Regulations are valid. | Profile of The Programme | Turkish Education Doctoral Program aims to train individuals who will bring innovation to this field by thoroughly researching current and advanced information on teaching Turkish as a native and foreign language to different target audiences with contemporary research methods and techniques. In this way, it is one of the missions of the program to take steps to close the gap in qualified academics needed in our universities by individuals specialized in the field. In addition, one of the aims of the program is to contribute to the Turkish National Education system with various researches on Turkish teaching. It is also among the goals of the program to help students who have completed their master's theses in teaching Turkish and other fields related to Turkish to continue their studies at the doctoral level. | Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples | People who successfully graduate from the Turkish Education Doctoral Program and earn the title of doctor can work as academicians in relevant departments of universities and research centers. | Access to Further Studies | | Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading | Students must attend classes and take exams. The student's attendance is monitored by the course instructor. All exams are evaluated out of 100 full points, and a midterm exam (or mid-semester study assignment) and a final exam (final) are held for each course. In courses where midterm and final exams are given, the success grade is calculated by taking 40% of the midterm exam grade and 60% of the final exam. | Graduation Requirements | Successfully completed at least 8 lectures and seminars, doctoral qualifying exam and thesis proposal defense, provided that it is not less than 24 national credits; Students who submit at least 3 successful thesis monitoring committee reports and pass the thesis defense exam are awarded a doctorate diploma. | Mode of Study (Full-Time, Part-Time, E-Learning ) | - | Address, Programme Director or Equivalent | | Facilities | |
