Students are admitted to non-thesis master's programs based on their undergraduate grade point averages. ALES score is not required for application to these programs. |
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) |
(1)Successful students those who have completed at least one semester in another graduate program within universities or high technology institutes have met the conditions for student admission to the graduate programs of the University, have succeeded in the courses they have enrolled in, have a grade point average of at least 70 points out of 100 points for master's degree and doctorate/ have at least 80 points or equivalent for proficiency in the arts can be admitted to graduate programs through transfer. (2)transfers are made between graduate programs that offer the same/equivalent education. At the end of each semester, departments of the institute notify the institute directorate of the quota for transfer students that they can accept in the following semester. |
Qualification Requirements and Regulations |
This program consists of at least 10 courses and a term project course, with a total of 30 national credits and not less than 60 ECTS.
Term project; It is aimed at the effective use of the knowledge acquired by the student in the graduate curriculum. The term project is prepared under the supervision of an advisor from the second semester, lasting for one semester. |

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading |
There is at least one midterm exam for each course. Teaching staff can also count projects, homework, laboratory, workshop, and similar works that their students do during the semester as a midterm exam. The final exam for a course is given at the end of the semester when that course is completed. Again, teaching staff can count projects, homework, laboratory, workshop, and similar works their students do during the semester as a place for the final exam. Students who have the right to take the final exam and do not take these exams with or without an excuse, and students who fail the final exam take the makeup exam. Students whose excuses are accepted as valid and justified by the relevant institute administrative board use their right to take the midterm exam within the same term. The midterm exam scores of the excused semester are taken into account to calculate the success grade of these courses. |
Graduation Requirements |
The duration to complete the non-thesis master's program is at least two semesters, at most three semesters, regardless of whether or not they are registered for each semester, starting from the semester in which the courses related to the program they are registered are given, excluding the time spent in scientific preparation. Students who fail or fail to complete the program at the end of this period are dismissed from the program. Students who successfully complete the credit courses and the term project course in the curriculum can graduate. |
