The Accounting and Taxation Programme started its activity as formal education in the 2004-2005 academic year. |
Qualification Awarded |
Graduates who successfully complete the program are awarded the Associate Degree in the field of The Accounting and Taxation. The graduates are given the title of Assistant Accountant Staff. |

Specific Admission Requirements |
Candidates must have a high school or an equivalent school diploma, and have a passing grade in the central examination administered by Assessment, Selection and Placement Center (OSYM) in the relevant field. And also they mustn't be disabled by the military service. |
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) |
At the beginning of the academic year, students are given a proficieny / exemption exam on classes such as foreign languages and computer. The students with a passing grade on these exams are exempted from those classes. Undergraduate transfer students are also exempted from the classes they have already taken. And these grades are recorded in their transcript. |
Qualification Requirements and Regulations |
In order to successfully complete the program, it is necessary to pass all the courses available (120 ECTS credits), obtain a GPA of at least 2.0 out of 4.00 and successfully complete the compulsory internship. In addition, totally 30 days of training period must be completed successfully. |
Profile of The Programme |
The purpose of the program is to train assistant accountant staff for the public and private sector either as an enterpreneur or a worker.
The first grade curriculum contains both general culture classes and basic professional classes.The second grade curriculum contains classes that predominantly aim to specialize in profession especially. Academic activities are held by three lecturers.

The purpose of the program is to train intermediate accountant staff for the public and private sector either as an enterpreneur or a worker.As an enterpreneur accountant, they can run their own business. They can also take part in the other sectors such as banking, insurance as well as accounting. |
Access to Further Studies |
Graduates who have successfully completed the Associate Degree education can study under the Undergraduate programs provided that they take valid grades from the External Transfer Exam(DGS). The faculties those can be chosen are listed below:

And also after getting their Associate Degree diplomas, they can enroll the Deparment of Business of the Faculty of Open Education in the University of Anatolia without taking the External Transfer Exam administered by Assessment, Selection and Placement Center

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading |
Every student has to attend classes, practices, project, seminar, workshop, semester work, graduation projects. Students who do not attend at least 70% of the theoretical courses and at least 80% of the practical studies are not allowed to take the final exams from those courses. Students have to repeat the relevant lessons until they fulfill the attendance requirement in the theoretical courses.And they take a mid-term exam and a final exam in each term. |

Facilities |
There are 3 permanent teaching staff in the program. In case you need to be done by entrusting teaching staff can be provided. Program-related classes, computer labs, sports and cultural events and other training equipment is available for the media.
