Course Contents
Following the instructions given on different types of clay, shaping and firing techniques, the working conditions in the workshop and ceramic tools are introduced to the students. After the demonstration of various ceramic sculptors and objects, they start to work with clay. They gain experience about the application strengths and limits related to the material. After the first trials the students make some basic designs and shape these forms by using the clay. When basic figure designs are completed they start to work on more complicated forms and those which are successfully completed get fired in the ceramic kiln.
