Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course is to give students a basic knowledge about perspective, color, space and shading, thus to be able to draw simple forms on paper by following the drawing principles and achieve a 3 dimensional perception.

Course Contents

The students, gain knowledge about the characteristics of the materials used specifically for pencil drawing and practice the free hand drawing of different geometrical forms. By using the basic 2 and 3 point perspective principles they convey these forms onto paper. At the end of each drawing the forms on paper will be shaded by applying the principles of light and shadow. According to the design's necessities, the process is completed by coloring the drawings.
