To have information about education activities, educational institutions, education programs and policies in Islamic history, to interpret Islamic education history in a way to shed light on today's education problems

1Starting from the first period, knows the institutionalization process in Islamic education.
2Recognizes Islamic educational institutions in terms of their features and education.
3Based on its achievements related to the history of Islamic education, evaluates today's Islamic education.
4It makes comparisons between periods in the history of Islamic education.
5Evaluates the change in pre-madrasah and post-madrasah education policies.

Course Contents
It is aimed to evaluate the process of religious education from the beginning to the present in terms of teaching elements, and to reveal the differences comparatively in terms of main periods together with the general knowledge acquisition. Topics Hz. Prophet, caliphs, Umayyads, Ayyubis, Andalusia Umayyads, Seljuks, Ottoman and Republican Period will be limited with their main lines, institutions will be examined by considering periods and teaching elements and will be reevaluated comparatively with previous periods.
