Objectives of the Course

To give basic information about the contributions of Turks to Islam, to learn the life and the opinions of famous Turkish theologians who have emerged in the Turkish-Islamic civilization and culture and who have grown up in Maturidî and Ashshari tradition, to analyze the contributions of Turkish theologians in the context of Islamic thought

Course Contents

The contributions of Turks to Islam, the life and the views of famous Turkish theologians who emerged in the Turkish-Islamic civilization and culture and who were brought up in Maturidî and Ashshari traditions, the Turkish theologians contributions to Islamic thought.
