Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to teach students how to ski properly and understand the steps of the instruction of skiing.

1Distinguishing different types of skiing and life in wild mountain nature
2Distinguishing skiing equipment and being able to select proper equipment for different conditions
3Being able to carry of skis, hold ski sticks and put on / off skis properly
4Basic stance and walk with the skis on
5Being able to turn while standing, falling and apply different techniques of getting up
6Being able to understand the different types instruction for walking up the hill with the skis on
7Understanding the instruction for skiing on the fall line
8Understanding the instruction of snow plow and snow plow turns
9Being able to use the tele-siege and lifts
10Understanding the step by step instruction of traverse skiing
11Understanding the step by step instruction of the side slip
12Understanding the step by step instruction of the parallel skiing

Course Contents
Types of skis, equipment information, carrying of skis, putting skis on/off, warming up with skis, instructional games about skiing, turning while standing, walking and skiing off the fall line, snow plow and slow plow turns, using lift and tele-siege, traverse and side slip, parallel skiing and parallel turns.
