Week Subject Description 1 thinking about the foundations of physical activity building on introductory material by addressing physical activity recommendations building on introductory material by addressing physical activity recommendations, definition of terms 2 Introduction of several basic principles for increasing physical activity in any population, health related components of fitness pre-class preparation muscle balance, balancing strength and flexibility, range of motion, Warm-up and stretching principles, Group exercises 3 Warm-up and stretching principles, Group exercises 4 Low high impact exercises Aerobic Dance, Step training 5 Principles of assessment, effectively measuring physical activity Low high impact exercises Aerobic Dance, Step training 6 Designing cardiorespiratory exercise programs 7 aerobic training methods and modes basic steps 8 personalized exercises programs, review material Aerobic Dance, Step training Basic steps and training with music 9 Designing weight management and body composition programs, review material Step training 10 Assessing flexibility, sources for equipment and review material Step training 11 body balance Aerobic Dance, Step training 12 Step-aerobics choreography
