Provide comprehensive language teaching with enriched language teaching activities

Learning Outcomes
1Gains knowledge about preparing and applying enriched language teaching activities in order to improve the language skills of students who could not acquire reading, writing, speaking, listening and visual literacy skills appropriate to their level even though they do not have detectable mental and physical disabilities.
2Techniques, methods and activities on how to teach children how to read and write are emphasized; have knowledge about students who come to school with different levels of prior knowledge from different socio-economic sectors and therefore have problems in acquiring and using language skills.
3Students will be able to learn how to teach to students who do not have enough language skills in school and home environment (teacher change, non-compliance, inadequacy of home conditions, domestic violence and incompatibility etc.).
4Have knowledge about approaches, methods, techniques and applications used in the process of teaching Turkish as a foreign language / second language and teaching process to children coming to immigration.
5Understands the importance of language education.

Course Contents
This course focuses on the preparation and application of enriched language teaching activities in order to improve the linguistic skills of the students who have not acquired the skills of reading, writing, speaking, listening and visual literacy according to their level, although there are no detectable mental and physical disabilities; techniques, methods and activities on how to teach reading and writing to children whose mother tongue is different; different socio-economic segments of the school with different levels of preliminary information and therefore students who have problems in gaining and using language skills, school and home environment due to various reasons (teacher change, non-compliance, inadequate household conditions, domestic violence and incompatibility etc.) language how to teach to students who cannot and cannot use their skills at an adequate level; teaching of Turkish as a foreign language / second language to the children who come to immigration and the approaches, methods, techniques and applications used in teaching process.
