Objectives of the Course

The course objectives are; to learn scientific research, ethics and ethical theories, to learn research and publication ethics, to learn unethical behavior and ethical violations and methods to prevent them during the research and publication process.

Learning Outcomes

Student shall acquire scientific research, ethics and ethical theories. Student shall learn research and publication ethics and experience unethical behavior and ethical violations during the research and publication process. Student shall know ethical issues related to authorship and copyright. Student shall be aware of the legal regulations and boards concerning research and publication ethics. Student shall know the ways to be followed in the detection of ethical violations. Student shall have information about violations of common research and publication ethics and methods to prevent them.
