Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide general information about the social skills education of pre-service teachers and to prepare and present examples of educational programs for improving social skills and reducing problem behaviors in pre-school education; to develop social skills, to prepare examples of training programs related to the reduction of problem behaviors.

Definition of behavior; positive and negative behaviors; theoretical foundations of behavior development; the definition of social skills, the importance of gaining social skills, the role of values education in acquiring social skills; the reasons for lack of social skills, the scope of social skills; definition of problem behaviors, relationship between social skills and problem behavior, classification of problem behaviors; definition of problem behaviors, relationship between social skills and problem behavior, classification of problem behaviors; social skills and problem; factors affecting social skills and problem behaviors; pre-school social skills training program; preparing and presenting examples of training programs aimed at developing social skills and reducing problem behaviors; preparing examples of training programs for the reduction of problem behaviors to develop social skills.
