Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to acquire the general knowledge of the candidate teachers in the scope of the Turkish sign language; communicate with hearing impaired individuals by learning the sign language alphabet.

1Pre service teachers get general information about Turkish sign language
2Pre service teachers learn alphabet of Turkish sign language
3Preservice teacher learns basic sentence structure, greeting, yes no quesitons, numbers, food and clothes etc. in Turkish Sign Language (TSL).
4Preservice teacher learn TSL in such a way that he can communicate with hearing-impaired individuals.
5He can use it when necessary in social life.

Basic knowledge of the Turkish sign language The sources that will be the basis for the achievement of skills at all levels required by the use of the Turkish sign language.
