Objectives of the Course
To enable teacher candidates to recognize their unique symbols and terminology of mathematics. To use the symbol and terminology of mathematics effectively and correctly, to enable the mathematical language to be used appropriately and effectively in mathematics itself and in different disciplines. To enable the teacher candidates express mathematical thinking verbally and in writing using different representations such as concrete model, figure, picture, graphic, table, symbol etc. To be able to relate daily language to mathematical language and symbols.Be able to relate mathematical language to daily language and symbols.To interpret the truthness and meaning of mathematical ideas.
