Objectives of the Course
The objective of this course is to enable students to recognise and define western and eastern myths and legends, to analyse the basic structures of myths and legends, to compare and contrast western and eastern beliefs, myths and fundamental legends, to detect mythic and archetypal references in various texts, and to apply archetypal criticism.
