| Level of Course Unit | First Cycle | Objectives of the Course | Risk, Disaster, and Crisis Management course aims to give the elemental concepts and life cycle assessment of risk, disaster and crises management. The course is oriented to teach the risk and crisis affecting human life, occupational safety, and environment. Risk analysis, risk management and sustainability. Differences and common points of risk management assessing potential threats and finding the best ways to avoid those threats and crisis management dealing with threats after they have occurred. Model and analyze the impact of crisis, disaster and emergency activities on organizations or society. Four phases of emergency management: preparedness, mitigation, response, recovery.
