Objectives of the Course |
The aim of the study is to give future mariners a general understanding on the history of sea transportation, ships, seafarers, ports
and technological developments. Starting from the bronze age to present a brief view of maritime history will be presented. |

Course Contents |
Development phase of the Turkish Navy in classic period. Turkish maritime sector in international competition. After the 19th century, the functioning of the system reforms and the Turkish navy. Understanding the important Turkish sailors and naval history. |
