| Selçuklu Devletinin Kuruluşu öncesi Orta ve Yakın Doğuda siyasi durum. Oğuz Yabgu Devleti ve Oğuzlar, Selçukluların Menşei. Seçukluların Müslüman olması. İslam dünyasında siyasi mücadelelere katılma. Dandanakan Savaşı ve devletin kuruluşu. Tuğrul Bey ve devletin yayılması. Selçuklu Halifelik ilişkilerinin düzenlenmesi. Sultan Alp Arslan ve devri.
