| Definition of poetry and poet. Poetry language. Word selection and its importance. Image, symbol, analogy, idiom and name transfer in poetry, repetition, deviation, emotional value of words, distant and close associations, basic and connotation, familiar and unconventional reconciliation. Synonym and polysemy. Sound elements, rhyme, ear and eye rhyme. Voice repetitions. Measure, rhythm and form in poetry. Verbal arts in poetry (metaphor, istiare, tasbih, allusion, contrast, etc.) style / style in poetry. Poetry and aesthetics. Fiction in poetry. Examples from Turkish and world literature. Creativity studies in poetry. |
