6	Learns to prepare daily animal nutrient rations to meet their needs and applies it.

Course Contents

Feeding, mechanisms of the feeding, nutrients, fats, carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins, minerals, water, definition of certain terms related to feeding, physiology of nutrition, food habits of mammals, and functional differences between monogastrics and ruminanst, monogastric animals digestion, poultry digestion, ruminants digestion, the stomach of ruminants, role of enzymes in digestion, rumen microbiology, feeds used in animal nutrition and nutrient requirements of farm animals.
