Course Contents

Classification of ornamental plants, importance of nutrients in nutrition of ornamentals, cut flowers and ornamental shrubs and trees.

1	Nutritional requirements and fertilization programs of ornamental plants, approaches related to identification of ornamentals,
2	Classification of ornamental plants, importance of nutrients in nutrition of ornamentals and their functions,
3	Critical levels of nutrients in leaves, nutritional disorder of ornamental plants, generally and specially symptoms.
4	N, P, K deficiency symptoms and fertilization programs. Ca,Mg, S deficiency symptoms and fertilization programs
5	B,Fe, Mn,Zn, Cu deficiency symptoms and fertilization programs. Salinity and some nutrient toxicity
6	Na, Cl, Mn, Cu, Zn, B toxicity, N, P, K toxicity, related disorders and damages caused by other factors.
7	Cut flowers and ornamental plants and ornamental shrubs and trees, fertilizing of onions. The importance of grass fields in the creation of recreation areas and functional features, grass plants and features in the grass fields used in the creation
8	Mid-term exam
9	According to the environmental features and functional objectives, the preparation of mixtures of different grass, grass areas for the general fertilizer recommendations and considerations for fertilization
