1 | Açık ve kapalı ekonomi, ithal ikameci politika, özelleştirme, küreselleşme, korumacılık, devletçilik gibi iktisadi terimler çerçevesinde Türkiye ekonomisini analiz eder. | 2 | Milli gelir, gelir dağılımı, işsizlik, enflasyon, ekonomik büyüme gibi ekonomik göstergelerle Türkiye ekonomisinin yapısını inceler. | 3 | Türkiye´nin uluslararası düzeyde yürüyen iktisadi ilişkilerini değerlendirir. | 4 | Türkiye ekonomisinde yaşanan krizleri neden ve sonuç açısından tartışır, farklı politikaları, kalkınma planlarını tanır ve sorgular. | 5 | Analyses Turkish Economy in terms of open and closed economy, import substitution policy, privatization, globalization, protectionism and etatism. | 6 | Recognizes the structure of Turkish Economy regarding economic indicators like national income, income distribution, unemployment, inflation, and economic growth. | 7 | Evaluates international economic relations of Turkey. | 8 | Debates crises of Turkish Economy in terms of causes and effects, recognizes and questions different policies and development plans. |

Course Contents |
The topics to be covered include the last years of the Ottoman Empire and the early years of the Republic of Turkey from an economic perspective, 1930s and statism, economic liberalization in the period of 1950-1960, development plans and import-substitution policies for industrialization after 1960, 24 January 1980 economic measures and export-oriented industrialization experience of Turkey, financial liberalization in the 1990s, and economic crises of 1994 and 2000-2001.
