To provide them with sufficient knowledge and equipment on environmental basic concepts, national and international environmental problems and policies, and to increase environmental awareness.

Learning Outcomes
1Global environmental problems, causes and consequences of these problems and environmental problems
2He/She will be able to identify the factors that cause environmental problems, will be able to analyze the relation between environmental protection and economic growth.
3He/She will be able to evaluate environment-human relation in the context of information society and consumer culture, will be able to explain environmentalism and politicization in this current.
4At the global scale, actors of environmental policies will be able to examine living processes and legal texts.
5Turkey will have detailed knowledge of EU environmental policies.

Environmental and human relations, environmental problems and historical development, the changing structure of environmental problems in the local and regional and global scale, the perception of the environment in international law, the instruments of international environmental policies, the actors and the variables that are effective in the decision making process, the internalities in the environmental economy and externalities principle, Sustainable development, ecological footprint, environment and development right, Global environmental policies and EU harmonization process Turkey's regional and global environmental activity.
