Definitions and basic principal. First law of thermodynamics. Thermodynamic systems. Heat and work. The second law of thermodynamics. Entropy and heat energy. Carnot principle and cycle. Heat machine cycle. Compressor cycle. Steam cycles. Gas turbine cycles. Ideal weather cycle. Water vapor. Evaporation. Thermodynamic properties of vapors. Steam cycles. Gases and the thermodynamic properties of gases. The gas-vapor mixture. Gas turbine cycles. Cooling cycle. Heat Transfer.
