Objectives of the Course
To learn working principles of sensory organs and motor systems of fish. To monitor and comment fish behaviours towards fishing gears, to use more efficient and selective fishing gears according to the obtained results

Course Contents
Locomotion and sensory capabilities in marine fish. Swimming, fish vision and hearing and its application in fish capture. Sound in underwater, fish hearing and reception of sound produced during fishing operation. Sense of taste in fish and utilisation of this information in fishing operation. To observe fish behaviour near fishing gears during capture processes.
