Course Contents
In this course, It’s provided information about culture techniques such as a selection of alternatively a new species which can be cultured, their adaptation, management and maintenance of their broodstock, artificial reproduction, their keeping, feeding and fattening of larvae. It’ll be given some information on their culture techniques and some marine species, belonging to some families having commercial and economic importance, such as some members of the Sparidae family (e.g. Dentex, Common Sea Bream, Red Porgy, Sharpsnout Sea Bream, and other species), Common Pandora, one of the species from Serranidae and some species of Sciaenidae family (e.g. Meagre, Red Drum) being high economic value and broadly found in our country's sea; and also Moronidae (Striped Bass, Morone saxatilis), Latidae (Asian Sea Bass, Barramundi, Lates calcafier), Gadidae (Atlantic cod, Gadus morhua and Hoddock, Melanogrammus aeglefinus) Chanidae (Milkfish, Chanos chanos) and Charangidae (Yellowtail, Seriola lalandi) extensively culturing in the world wide
