Objectives of the Course
Lesson of History of Kalam aims to study and get the students to comprehend the begining of Ilm al-Kalam, its definition, the causes for its appearance. Also deals with the factors effected to appearance of Islamic sects. So criticizez formations of Islamic sects as Ahl as-Sunnah, Mu’tazilah, Havaric, Şia, Mürciah and theirs basic ideas.

Learning Outcomes
1The student comprehend the relation of Islamıc belief and thought with historical events.
2He understands the role of environmental factors in formation of religious thought.
3He perceives religious factors in relations amongs religious sects and their point of views to each other.
4He perceives the relation between religion and sect and so he finds a possibility to make a religious viewpoint.
5He acquires an ability of comparison between differences in history of Islamic thought and contemporary structures of thoughts.
