Objectives of the Course
It is aimed that the student gain knowledge about the basic concepts and theories of management science, its historical development, nursing services management philosophy, development and practices, and the responsibilities of the nurse manager.

1LO - 1 : Analyze the organizational structure of the nursing services department according to contemporary management theories and concepts.
2LO-2: Organize the nursing services of a unit by using the stages of the management process.
3LO-3:Knows the legal regulations concerning the management of health and nursing services.
4LO-4: Analyze the problems or conflicts that arise in the health institution or a part of the institution by using scientific methods.
5LO-5:Define the methods that can be used to increase the quality of patient care and nursing management practices.
